As aspiring entrepreneurs, we quickly realized that we not only wanted to sell a great product people would love to buy but also to start a company that mattered and that could bring back a sense of purpose.

After learning that underwear in general, and socks in particular. are the least donated but the most needed clothing items at homeless shelters, we decided to enter on a mission to make sure that for every pair of socks we sell, we give a pair to a person in need through Associação dos Albergues Nocturnos do Porto (AANP), a homeless shelter organization in our hometown.

Last Christmas we did it again and delivered your donations through AANP. It may seem like a small gesture but if we can help someone feel warm and comfortable, and that can help them put things together, it gives them one less thing to worry about.
